Do you need a visa for Barbados?

No, you don’t need a visa to enter Barbados as a visitor from the UK. When you arrive in Barbados, you’ll usually be given a specific time period that you’re allowed to stay; if you want to stay for longer than originally granted, you can apply and pay for an extension of stay through the Barbados Immigration Department.

Healthcare in Barbados

Public and private healthcare services are available in Barbados and are well equipped, easily assessable and of a high standard, but can be quite expensive. That’s why it’s important to make sure that adequate medical travel insurance is purchased prior to travel to ensure you’re covered, should anything happen.

It’s important to make sure you speak to your GP at least four to six weeks prior to travel to check whether there are any vaccinations or other preventatives needed.
