Tennis travel insurance
Having a quick game of tennis on a holiday can be a fun way to spend time with family or friends – and a little competition is always healthy! At InsureandGo we want to make it as easy as possible to get insurance for fun activities.
That’s why tennis is automatically covered by our standard travel insurance policy; so whether it’s the start of a new family tradition, or the next round in an annual competition with your friends, you can be rest assured knowing that tennis travel insurance won’t be something to worry about.
In fact, our travel insurance policies all come with automatic cover for over 50 sports and activities including insurance for mountain biking and even basic scuba diving! As always terms and conditions apply, so check the policy wording for full details of these and the other activities we cover.
Why do you need travel insurance for tennis?
Although it seems harmless, like any other activity tennis comes with a risk. Whether it’s a serious graze on the court or a racquet-swing from an unfocussed partner, you may require some medical assistance. It’s important to think about having a travel insurance policy that will cover you in the event of an accident or injury. We’ll have you covered!
Don’t worry – if you’re planning to spend your entire trip playing tennis, you’ll be covered by any of our policies.
What is included with tennis insurance?
As tennis is covered under all our policies as one of 50 amazing adventure sports and activities, you’ll be serving aces knowing that you’re also covered for:

- Personal accident and liability
- Cancelling and cutting short your holiday
- Abandoning your trip
- Delayed departure
- Accommodation cover
- Personal belongings and baggage
- Personal money, passport and travel documents

Will my tennis racket be insured?
While tennis is automatically covered under all our policies, sports equipment can be expensive, so if you’re travelling with yours it’s important that it’s fully insured. All our policies include cover for valuables, including sports equipment, so make sure you choose the right level of cover for your needs. If your tennis racket is particularly expensive, you can even add extended valuables cover to your policy, which covers up to £1,000 per item – see our policy wordings for more details.
Please note: ‘Tennis travel insurance’ is a general term for cover included within our standard travel insurance. We don’t offer specialist insurance cover for this specific activity.
